The owners of this Jewett Parkway home hired us to restore the cedar shake siding of the upper gables, hidden by insulation and vinyl siding. The house had been broken up into four apartments in the 1960s. The current owners wished to return the structure back to a single family home.

We were surprised to find remnants of the original ornamentation (note the "crosses," "eyebrows" and "sawtooth" patterns) and were able to restore them to their original integrity.

The windows on the East Side of the home required stabilization and replacement of rotten sills. On the West Side, the windows had been removed. The windows were rediscovered in the attic and returned to the original locations in newly constructed frames. A second floor, two-level stained glass window had been completely covered on the interior and exterior - the owners were very pleased to find this treasure buried in their walls.
After completion of the carpentry work, the home was painted three complementary colors chosen by the owners.
